Cantaritos Cafe has become my family’s top spot for brunch on Sundays. Food is delicious and service is excellent. They welcome you with a delicious soup as an appetizer that is very warm and light. My daughters favorite. The atmosphere and food makes you feel at home. Definitely recommend this place!

I had a hard time choosing from the breakfast menu as it all seemed good, but ended up ordering the huevos con poblanos with flour tortillas. It was really tasty! My partner liked the breaded steak cuban sandwich. Service was quick and friendly.

Enjoyed breakfast here today. Was surprised to be served a complimentary bowl of soup at 8:30 in the morning. But it was yummy and warming. I ordered the California AM burrito for my breakfast and it was delicious and filling. I chose fruit as my side and it was grapes, blueberries and strawberries. I ordered pupusas to-go. I was so full from my burrito, but tried a bite of each when I got home. Also very good. The gentleman who waited on me was very prompt and attentive. Can’t wait to come back here to try the chilaquiles!

Updated Review: I went again this morning and got a California Breakfast Burrito. This time it was much more flavorful, and it also was much larger. I am unable to comment on the veggie skillet since I did not order it the second time, but I can confidently change my review from 1 star to 5 because of this huge quality improvement!

I wanted to try something different so I suggested it to my family but I was super disappointed. The food was okay. I ordered an omelette with potatoes and the entire plate was bland. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either. I saw pupusas on the menu so I wanted to give it a try but as a salvadorian I was disappointed. At the end I asked for a pibb and it tasted like water. Maybe the syrup was running out? I don’t know. Anyway, maybe next time it’ll be better.

New favorite breakfast in Athens. The food is delicious, and the menu features a range of cuisines, Venezuelan-style arepas, traditional Mexican egg dishes, generous potato skillets. Waiting for the bar to open, I might never leave.
