Great ambiance and decor that makes you feel comfortable and puts you in an authentic Tex-Mex setting. The food only adds to the dining experience. I got the Pollo tacos and was able to substitute corn tortillas for the standard flour tortillas and add cilantro. They were flavorful and reasonably priced. My wife got the chicken enchiladas (which I tried of course). The enchiladas took the cake and I had a little buyer’s remorse wishing I had ordered them as well. We also got the table side guacamole which was great! We got it made “medium” spicy and next time will get it “mild” as it lit us up a little bit. Overall, a great dining experience which earns a 4.4/5 s.

From the moment we walked in the staff was courteous and friendly. Gia our server was super attentive, friendly, and gave amazing recommendations. Her table side guacamole was outstanding!!! The food and drinks were superb ( for drinks we ordered the Expresso Martini and Mexican Mule. Appetizer was the table side guacamole, and for dinner we had the lobster tacos and chicken taco salad. And dessert was the cheesecake chimichanga) the ambiance and live music (@cheyllo) was the cherry on top.Will definitely be back.

The first time i went here the food was amazing ! And yet this time it was different the Birria tacos did not taste the same, chicken for the bowl was a bit dry. The house margarita was amazing, the atmosphere is spot on.

Great atmosphere, service and the drinks are loaded! The food was well presented, however, it did not have the expected rich flavor we are all accustom when it comes to Tex-Mex food. Having said that, I would still recommend this restaurant to family and friends. Only a 14mins drive from Silver Spring.

This was my first visit to this restaurant. I went with two friends. There’s a very cool vibe to this former bank. The food was quite good, with large enough servings to bring some home. I particularly liked the tableside guacamole. We received excellent service as well.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon. The chicken and waffles is phenomenal. The flan is delicious. The service was wonderful. Jeremiah was extremely friendly, welcoming, and seemed to really enjoy his job. Will definitely be returning!

I had absolutely a fabulous experience here at Cantina. I held my wedding dinner here with guests on the first floor and it was the perfect ambiance for my event. The wait staff were so kind and Deanna, manager, was so organized and supremely helpful. Kris, the general manager, was hugely helpful in helping me put together a menu and organizing behind the scenes. Food was really delicious and my guests couldn’t stop telling me how much they loved it all! Thanks so much to the staff and team and chef for making my day so special. I would highly recommend Cantina and the team!

We had a corporate event in the upstairs area and it was exactly what we needed. The food was excellent and having our entire party away from the downstairs worked out perfectly. There was even a balcony that allowed us to hang out and see the town square. The staff made sure we had everything we needed, Deana did an amazing job and was extremely helpful and attentive. They even packed everyone to-go boxes to take with them of the food we had. The food was outstanding and presented perfectly, as seen in the charcuterie image. It was a great experience and we will be hosting more events here. Great Job Cantina team!
