I’m writing this review and my blood is still boiling. Today my daughter and I went to MD to enjoy a day of shopping. We had a taste for Chinese food. Not familiar with the area we google locations and seen the awesome reviews for this restaurant. Imagine my disappointment to drive 20 minutes out the way to this restaurant and have the experience we had. When we walked in no one was at the front. We waited for 5 minutes when the phone started ringing. After several rings a lady appeared. She never acknowledged us or said anything. She answered the phone never once making eye contact with us. After she ended the call she still didn’t say anything to us. It was like we were invisible. Now I know this woman knew we were here. They have a bell that rings when you walk in the door. And they have several cameras. Not sure what her issue was but it really made feel like she didn’t want us there. And it was really hard to explain this situation to my daughter. We were hungry and we had to drive all the way back home angry and hungry. Yes we could’ve ate somewhere else but that lady made us feel we didn’t even want to be in this location. It’s very disheartening to know in 2023 it’s still people that exist like this. Knowing that it’s the very community who makes it possible for you to make a living everyday. It’s a lot of hateful people in this world. To the lady who gave us a terrible experience today may you and your family be blessed. May God show his love and favor in your life!!!!

This place brings Gaithersburg together. Everyone sits down and enjoys a meal that is a bang for their buck. Expect to just sit down if a table is available. Don’t expect a butler to come grant your wishes. Overall the food is worth it!

Canton Delight has been a local gem for over a decade, this is just a truly solid spot. Reviews talking down are clowning. It’s transitioned into a straight-up buffet-style takeout operation (no sitdown). Always impressive prices (currently $10 closed- or $12 open-box). Don’t arrive expecting tons of conversation, just cleanliness and a consistent quality of Americanized Chinese food that’s kinda like a more savory Panda Express. Selection isn’t huge but hits most of the cravings. Props to this restaurant

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! Terrible customer service!!!!!! I looked at their online menu and it said lunch was $7.50 from 1-4pm. I called in an order of sesame chicken for pickup around 1:20pm. When I arrived she said it was $10.75. I showed her the online menu on their website said $7.50 for lunch she said the menu is old and they don’t use it anymore and I even tried asking the price to be sure on the phone after telling her what I wanted and she hung up immediately. I asked her why she didn’t say the menu was old online when we spoke on the phone and she said I didn’t ask. So I proceeded to walk out and told her I would not be getting the food if she didn’t honor the price on her website. If it’s old prices than you as a business are responsible for updating that. I will not spend my money here there are plenty of other Chinese restaurants in the area with better food and customer service. The place also looked unkept and not very clean so I wouldn’t want to purchase food from them anyway after seeing how the place looked. You do not scream at or argue with your customers as the lady at the front did with me. I was in shock I have never been yelled at by a restaurant as a customer, just terrible. Get your staff in line!
