I’ve ate here a handful of times and the food is okay depending on what you get. My family an I ordered a pick up at 8pm and when I called the waitress that answered tried telling me they were closed when it says 9pm on Google then when I said that she said oh I thought it was Sunday. I could tell the whole time I was ordering she was annoyed by her voice & I understand I ordered an hour before close but you shouldn’t act like that. Then I went to get our food & asked for an application & the same waitress that took my order couldn’t even take 2 minutes to look for one. Upon arriving home the gyro meal we ordered had no sauce on it & big chunks of blue cheese, all our meals were thrown together quickly you could tell again I get it’s closing time but we are still paying customers & spent 50.. we won’t be back

The staff was very friendly, plus they went out of their way to make our visit a memorable one. After ordering, it took about five minutes to receive our food and the food was really good. Prices were very reasonable, with a welcoming atmosphere.

Just in town for the day and stopped at the Canton Family Restaurant! WOW! I had Liver & Onions and husband had chicken fried steak. Both were 5 star meals! OUTSTANDING service! The cook DEFINITELY knows how to fix good food! The photo is what I couldn’t finish – it was a HUGE meal! Soup was delicious!

Being new to the area, this was my first experience at this establishment. The restaurant was neat and clean and the server was pleasant and attentive. The coffee cup was a bit small but the coffee was hot and the cup was kept full without the server hovering. The menu is extensive that it should cover the wishes of most anyone. The food was good with a couple of small issues. I had biscuits and gravy, eggs over easy, and sausage links. The biscuits seemed a little underdone in the middle and the sausage gravy was a bit bland for my taste. The sausage links were done but cool on the inside. The eggs were unacceptable to my way of thinking. With sixty years experience cooking at home, as fry cook in multiple restaurants as well as a few stints in the ship’s galley in the Navy, I know how to cook eggs. Eggs with edges that are brown and crunchy with the whites barely opaque over the yolk are NOT over easy. I don’t mean this review to be harsh and it doesn’t mean I won’t go back. My meal still quite edible and the restaurant a good choice for time, value, and variety offered.
