This was my first visit and it didn’t disappoint. Canton St. Social has a lively atmosphere in the very walkable downtown Roswell. It’s a family owned and run restaurant and that’s evident by the warm welcome, and great camaraderie between staff. Our server, John, was attentive and gave excellent suggestions.

Cheese board is amazing, order the 4 year aged cheddar and apricot cheese, you cannot go wrong with them. the owner is very nice, she was super accommodating and polite. The mimosa options were great and reasonably priced. We also ordered hummus which tasted fantastic. Food was delicious and prepared quickly. 10/10 would absolutely recommend.

Awesome place for a date night! Everything we ordered from the cocktails to dessert was amazing! We really enjoyed the Tortilla Espanola and the scallop entree was just perfect. I may have even asked for a spoon so that none of the potato purée was wasted.

Went for brunch with spouse. Normally don’t compliment an omelet but it was exceptionally good. Berries on side fresh. Nice atmosphere conducive to dating conversation. Coffee was a bit bitter. Spouse had burger which I was told was very good. A bit expensive for what we ordered. Buckhead prices in the northern suburbs of Atlanta.

We had stopped going here as the food got weak and there were better places in Roswell. Well enter the new owners and BAM! Drinks, food, all spot on. Staff is outstanding and they team cover tables. We have had different cocktails and meals and all have been great. It is now part of our regular weekend rotation.

If it was possible, I would give Canton St Social 5-stars for service (shout out to Margot!) & 3.75 stars for food. We snagged last minute dinner reservations on a beautiful Friday evening & sat outside. There was live music playing & we were quickly attended to. Enjoyed a round of Violet Springs, their Empress gin-based cocktail. Next up was the delicious Goat Cheese Croquettes. Highly recommend. Out next was the Edamame Hummus, it was good not great, would have preferred crudités along with the toast & a little more mint & a touch of acid in the hummus for brightness. The husband ordered the Pork Brisket Steak (basically a boneless pork chop) Again, good not great. Lacked seasoning & it wasn’t exactly tender. I ordered the Brussels Sprouts pizza. On paper it sounded like a flavor bomb! In reality it was lackluster. Had to ask for salt & a balsamic drizzle to amp up the flavor. Ended up tossing it in a take out box to doctor up at home. Overall, it was a nice evening & we appreciated the great service.

Had a fabulous dinner last night. Braised short ribs and the seared scallops. Both were cooked to perfection. YUM! Highly recommend making reservations. Parking on a Saturday night is a bit of a challenge. Expect to pay $10 to park in one of the nearby lots.

This restaurant is wonderful – both the food and drink menu are impressive, and the inside is gorgeous with all the string lights and lanterns hanging from the ceiling. Kristi is one of the owners and her attention to detail for everything going on in the restaurant is something to be applauded. We have been there before, but we went again last night for a date night and we can’t wait to go back. Kristi gave us great recs as it was the kind of menu that everything sounds amazing! We got the shrimp ceviche (oh.my.gosh… we are still talking about it tonight). And, we split the crab cake entree and the short rib sandwich. My mouth is watering just thinking about how good all of the food tasted. If you haven’t been here yet under this ownership (since June 2022, if I remember correctly), or haven’t gone recently, do yourself a favor and go ASAP!!!
