Atmosphere is beautiful. We are return customers. The outside patio and grounds are stunning. The food tonight was average, some dishes seemed like they had been sitting. Dishes delivered out of order. Took two hours to be served our entrees (6 of us). Service was not good. Table next to us had someone smoking an e-cigarette and blowing smoke towards us.

The venue is in a beautiful location and our experience was just wonderful until dinner. I requested Gluten Free bread, which the waiter gladly brought to to the table. I also asked for my vegetarian entree to be made Gluten Free, which he assured me would be no problem. My sister-in-law, who was sitting beside me, ordered the same entree, but not Gluten Free.

we live at lake toxaway ,stopped here tried to c any chance can have dinner without reservation. Unfortunately when we got off the car and enjoy the view with our dogs, a staff walked to us and asked r we some members here? If not we need go ! Thanks bro When we stopped by the Libary at noon, the Chef welcomed us and introduced his restaurant! Such a difference! Fine dining experience? I don’t expect that! I canceled our reservation in Aug immediately.

BEWARE: The food was really good – like some of the best we’ve had in a while. No faulting the chef. However when we got home and checked our credit card statement, we noticed that we had been charged $60 extra – that’s on top of the 20% mandatory tip. Keep hold of your receipts and make sure the wait staff aren’t adding extra tips…

The staff went out of their way to make our anniversary special. Service was quick, professional and efficient. Ambiance was rustic, yet elegant. The food was simple, but very well executed. I recommend the meat and cheese platter, the short ribs and the yogurt and beet panna cotta for dessert.
