Great little spot. Small, but inviting. They were very busy, so service was a little slow, and our server forgot a couple of items, but we were not in a hurry, and we knew she was super busy. Food was great! Awesome eating somewhere that’s been open since 1945. We had white chicken chilli for an app, a smoked ham sandwhich and a chop steak burger. Topped it off with one of their ginormous slices of cheesecake! Nice little place to go in Elkhart County.

Used to work at Miles and would stop in after work for a beer and burger. Decided to give it a try again. This was our 2nd time in a few months and both times have been great. My wife had the roast beef sandwich and I had the tenderlion. We recommend either one. The tenderlion is thick enough you could taste the meat. Most tenderlions are pounded flat, this one isnt. The roast beef was a light color and my wife was sceptical because of the appearance. She ended up saying it was one of the best roast beef sandwiches she has had. There was no fat and the horsehadish was very mild. Prices are hard to beat at less than 10 bucks a sandwich.

Excellent find in Elkhart. Cozy, hole in the wall, food is great, reasonably priced. Kelly waited on us and is family to present and past owners. Kelly is friendly, informative and did a great job. Jalapeno ketchup was new to us and wonderful. We bought 2 at cost to bring home.
