food is good but they have now messed up my order three times in a row. they only have three people working there so i can understand how they would be overwhelmed but that is no excuse to continuously mess up orders. when I asked them to remake my order correctly, they told me that they were out of chicago style dough and couldn’t remake it (one hour after they opened). very disappointed as i had been recommending this place and i no longer will. also they treated me like i was stupid when i told them the orders were messed up.

Fun and delicious! The deep dish isn’t exactly chicago-like but it’s tasty nonetheless. The thin crust is also wonderful! Extra points for their garlic cheese sticks and shareable large salads.

We enjoy coming to eat pizzas at this place, they offer you 2 styles of pizza (we tried both) the sauce is very tasty and you will have a lot of cheese on your pizzas (a lot of cheese!). I really liked the retro decoration and the old slot machines were a special discovery for my 11 year old son, and to think that they work very well! Excellent attention from the host, we will definitely return soon.

The deep dish pizza was deeply disappointing. The cheese was hard to find even though I ordered extra cheese. The pizza was almost like a soup so the crust was super soggy and border was so dry it made very difficult to swallow. The tables were extremely uncomfortable to the point that my back hurt after 10 minutes. The price was very good for a what you’re getting. Overall wouldn’t go out my way to go back and I can’t recommend it.

I love Cappy’s, always have. I grew up eating here and watched all the changes. The new owners really revamped the menu and their regular New York style pizza is different, but delicious. They’ve included a whole vegan side to the menu which is really cool too.

This was my second time coming here I spent a little over 30$ for a Chicago style pizza with 4 toppings. I assumed the toppings were underneath the cheese but when I got home to eat it was only cheese! I tried to call at around 8:55pm however no one ever answered my 4 calls. I live to far to go back there because they closed at 10. I had to pay cash and got no receipt so I couldn’t even dispute it the next day. Completely ripped off and disappointed

If you want to have pizza in one of the cutest restaurants you’ve ever seen, this is it. I’m still amazed at the amount of effort they put into every little detail. Inside is very cool and retro with arcades but outside is just the cutest garden! It is so well put together, no mosquitoes and pet friendly. We had a very peaceful dinner, it almost felt like we were not in Tampa. The pizza was also great. (Kudos for having anchovies in the menu) and the veggie pizza was on point! Absolutely would recommend!

The pizza wasn’t the greatest. Like chewing on card board. The customer service was terrible. I waited like 35 minutes before being seated. However my waitress was very sexy and bubbly. What guy doesn’t like that. However it is more of a kid oriented place so she could have keeped that in mind. No bra and lots of skin. I liked it however totally inappropriate. They have a mini arcade there out side seating which is very nice. There bathrooms where surprisingly clean. Especially with kids running around. It’s only 2 blocks from the Red Star Rock Bar which is where I started my evening. It’s a nice strip to walk down. They have a train running above the walls and lots n lots of historic memorabilia as shown in my pictures. Each table has a different trivia pursuit cards. The booths are made of wood with no cushions and straight backs so seating is uncomfortable. They do have different beer there in a stand up cooler with glass doors. Its a help your self service. I believe they have cider as well. I do give this place 2 stars rather than 1 because it’s cool and the bathrooms are clean. However if you want delicious pizza then keep looking cause you won’t find it here. If you want to take your kids somewhere other than chucky cheese then this place is a good choice.
