First time here today. Ordered the Homestyle Turkey 10 inch (as shown). Very friendly and helpful staff. Solid sandwich. Would definitely return and try another menu item.

Service was great! Very helpful staff. Unfortunately, food was awful. It’s pretty hard to make a sandwich bad, and this was bad. I got a turkey sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo. The turkey had zero flavor and was very dry. I saw they added salt and pepper and even that did nothing! The bread was the only decent part. Definitely would advise to go to smother sandwich shop. Great customer service though, nothing against the staff. Just poor quality food.

Had the hot bobbie (turkey sandwich) 16 minute wait (first in line), $13.55 for combo. Painfully average. Similar to Jersey Mike’s, the quality and taste is the same or worse than Subway. With a 20-30% higher price tag. Looking for a cute place to have lunch go here, looking for a great sandwich at a decent price keep looking.Believe the reviews.

The food came out super hot and fresh. I could barely eat my sub because it was so hot. The fires were nice and crisp. The salads are a great size for their price and tasty. Great place with great vibes.

I got a cheese steak. It was good, nothing to rave about. But tasty. My wife got a turkey hoagie that she really enjoyed. For me, it was typical chain restaurant food. The man who took our order was in a terrible mood – we could feel the hatred from him. Perhaps he was going through a personal tragedy. All in all, the food wasn’t bad, but it was a little expensive.

Very upset. I spent $86 on food and door dash brings it and my soup was missing. I called and the employee wasn’t at all apologetic and had an attitude like they could care less. They told me to call door dash and have them come back. It was Capriottis fault they forgot it, not door dash. I paid $7 for the soup. After talking to the door dash driver, who said he couldn’t go back. I called again and another employee what happened. Again, no apology. He just says ok. I know it’s $7 but seriously what happened to customer service??

Clearly this location suffers seriously from a total lack of leadership. While the sandwiches are average (or a little less than average) and the employees nice enough, they are obviously either ill-trained or untrained. No one moves with a sense of purpose, and the place looks it. This is about the 5th or 6th time I’ve tried Capriottis in Allentown and it will be the last. I gave it an honest shot and nothing has improved since they opened. Frankly, when the tables are left dirty and the employees hanging out listlessly, it is not unreasonable to assume that the cleanliness of the kitchen and food prep areas are likewise unattended. Under these circumstances I don’t trust the sanitation. Today, with fully a quarter of the tables dirty and the place close to empty of customers, the person whom delivered my sandwich took a half-hearted swipe with his bare hand and cleared some crumbs from the table. Yeah, I know – I could have chosen one of the clean tables but unfortunately they were all in the sun. Nobody in the place appeared active at that time and nobody came back to clean. My sense is that the employees I’ve interacted with are solid people and would want to do a good job, but the leadership of this location fails miserably. This is a demanding industry and requires attention. I can’t imagine this place is going to survive. Somebody needs to care.

Went to Capriotti’s for the first (and last) time yesterday for lunch. Ordered a classic Italian sub. All bread, with very sparse serving of meat. Jersey Mike’s and Primo are both nearby and both are better. To top it off, Capriotti’s cuts a wedge in the top of the bread and lays the toppings on top, so they all fall off when you try to eat it. Just cut the bread straight through!

U can taste how real each ingredient is. It stayed fresh as I didn’t get to eat it right away, this place is pretty great. Staff was nice and quick on a Saturday night.
