Wagyu Cheesesteaks are worth trying at least once but we’re a bit salty for my taste this time around. All other offerings were just average in my opinion, and extremely overpriced for the quality.

I’ve come to Capriotti’s (Kirkwood Hwy) plenty of times and have not been disappointed but NOT this time. While the service was great as usual, the sandwich was absolutely terrible. The meat was dry and without flavor. The tool was extremely firm- extra firm. It was without doubt the worse steaks I’ve ever purchased. $50 down the drain as 2 bites was all our family could muster. I hope this not a sign of decline.

My out of town guests were looking forward to a good cheesesteak, so I ordered two cheesesteaks with extra meat on both and one with extra onions, a chicken cheesesteak, and an Italian hoagie with oil, pickles and peppers on the side.

Did not get what I ordered. My sandwich came without tomatoes, that I ordered. My Wag u and Blue salad came without any beef and with sweet peppers, which I asked to omit. I called to complain and after going between an employee and her manager was basically told that if I came to the store, they would make me a new salad. I explained that I just had major neck surgery and can’t drive. I had to have someone pick it up for me in the first place. It was made known to me that they do not refund cards, they just give a store credit. Why do I want a store credit when I’m not able to drive, plus they inconvenienced me by getting my order wrong. Not happy at all.

I usually don’t do reviews, but this place was horrible I prefer the one in Newark my food was disgusting and the place inside was dirty. I will never go to this location again!! I waited an additional 20 minutes even though I had already placed my order 20 minutes prior over the phone and received some cheap pathetic cold sandwiches.
