This place is a hidden gem if ya like seafood. Location is a little odd , no other restaurants around. Staff was very professional, but no very friendly. You sanitize when you walk in. Building is like a boat. Bar is in the glassed in area. You can dine at the bar, gives a open feel while inside. Patio seating was great under the palapalas. Food was hot and fresh! Good portions. Great flavor and appeal. Restaurant was very clean and so were the restrooms.

Gumbo was awesome! I love Gumbo here. Grilled catfish and shrimp were so good and fresh. Garlic bread and dirty rice were amazing. I definitely back here. Next time I wanna try oyster.

Food was very good, great fish and shrimp! Their rice is definitely the best! Has great flavor and seasoning. Only down side about Capt. Benny’s is the wait. There was not that many people in the restaurant, and from the time we got our drinks to when they took our order was a good 10 min. And it’s not like they had many customers there was only 2 other tables there at that time. Besides that everything else was great!

4/2022 just like everything else portoons are shrinking, tasty though. Fries were crunchy & crab fingers were good too. Fried fish fillet was so small they have me 3. Scallops were small but Yummy! Stuffed jalapenos were half the usual size. Cocktails were spot on!

The Fisherman’s Platter was fantastic! Everything on this platter was done to perfection. It includes a catfish fillet, stuffed crab, deep fried scallops, hush puppies, garlic bread, and French fries served with tartar sauce, cocktail sauce, and cole slaw.

My husband ordered the crayfish dinner and I was disappointed he didn’t like his dinner. He had broiled crayfish but it had more bell peppers than crayfish. His description was..The Ramen with shrimp have more shrimp than this. ☹. There is no drink menu but if you know of the drink you want they’ll make it. Menus where dirty. I had to wipe mine….this place has ok quality of food for price I don’t think I’ll come back again.
