We were visiting New Orleans and we asked around for a recommendation for a seafood and broil restaurant and this was what we were told to go by the hotel. This restaurant was absolutely horrible!!! The shrimp boil was so bad that the shrimps were so pasty due to being way over boiled and the gumbo didn’t taste good at all. I don’t recommend this place at all and not to mention that it is in a very sketchy area.

Amazing local food markets. They have very good prices for the seafood and I was amazed by how they had the snow crabs….

No frills joint serves excellent seafood po’boys & more. What the ambiance lacks, the food makes up for.

Capt. Sal’s Seafood is one of my favorite seafood stores. The boiled Dungeness crabs are not just sitting out. They sort of boil them to order, thus when you get them in the bag, you can see the steam. The red beans and rice are surprisingly excellent! The po’boys are filling on good bread.

Capt. Sal’s Seafood & Chicken was recommended to us so we decided to stop by and try their food. The crawfish did not disappoint and it was delicious! We placed a to go order as we were to start driving to our next vacation spot. Before we arrived to our next destination we had finish all of the crawfish!

One of a few places still accepting ebt for crawfish. I go here for the oysters. Capt. Sal’s has always fried the best oysters in my opinion. This spot is in the upper 9 and can be shady looking at times with people hanging around. Nice staff.

Customer Service sucks. Takes long to cook, it’s hard to mess up fried food. But they mess up everything . I order. Even simple fries

This place is very underrated! Although it doesn’t have calm ambiance inside they make delicious food for great prices. Grab some food to go then go eat it at crescent park. Some of the best crawfish out there!
