At our Orangeburg, SC location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Not from Orangeburg, however I was visiting my cousin that’s in a nursing home and he wanted Fish and Shrimp for lunch. I did a Google search and this was the closest location. I could barley hear the Drive Thru attendant. I made him aware very kindly and he didn’t care. He had no personality whatsoever when I got to the window to pay. Food was hot and my cousin seemed to enjoy

The food was cold! The shrimp was cooked on one side, and the other side was not to be done! They baked potato was not a fresh cooked one!They cook the shimp frozen and not shaking them up in the basket so they can cook on both sides! So the shimp is not cooking all the way! This is not the first time this has happened ! I don’t think I will be going back anytime soon ! The cashier was very nice! She was even cleaning off the tables! When she had no customers! The only reason I give them 3 star’s on service and atmosphere is because the casher!

I had an online order I had waited in the drive thru for 10 mins and decided to go inside to get my order. The door is locked so I called and the dude was like “we are kinda busy right now go to the drive thru” well now I am waiting again and my has been ready. I will not be coming back it is always a 20 + minute wait and even ordering online you can’t get your food in timely fashion. This is ridiculous. Had not already paid for it I would’ve left but I can’t bc I paid online. My tots wait time was over 30 minutes so now I have cold food. Will not go back.

Definitely WAS a favorite for beer battered fish – when it’s done right. Not sure what is going on here but the batter was abnormally dry and not beer battered at all. Service and cleanliness is quite sketchy! Cashier touching mouth then debit card and scratching her scalp then the bag…..its still pandemic. Meal was incomplete – no hush puppies nor the extra ones paid for, no condiments at all, no napkins, no sodas available. I don’t know why I took & attempted to eat this meal.

Ordered online and paid and had to wait in 45 minute drive thru line to pickup my food after it was ready. They told me at the drive thru I had to wait in line to get my food that i ordered. Bad business. I had planned to pickup on my way home and get home on time. Next time I will not order ahead but order at the store so if the line or wait is too long ill go somewhere else where the customer service is better. Thanks

The little heifer that you have at the counter with the long braids the tall girl needs to be fired the whole department needs to be fired it’s unclean they’re unprofessional they smell like beer and weed I never have this issue in Columbia South Carolina only when I’m visiting Orangeburg they had no tartar sauce no ketchup no okra my meal was missing two fish tenders the fries wasn’t even filled up you just need to replace everybody working there besides the manager
