At our Anderson, SC location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Captain D’s in Anderson SC, this location was absolutely wonderful, I took my hubby there for Father’s Day yesterday, and the battered fish, shrimp, green beans, hush puppies, blackened lemon pepper tilapia fish, corncob, it was all sooo delicious, and the customer service was top notch!! We were so hungry I didn’t get a chance to take a complete photo before we started chopping down cause that smell of it I knew it was delicious, lol.

The staff at this captain D’s leaves BIG shoes for other stores to fill. They don’t just provide good service and food- they provide all of the above when cars are wrapped around the building in the drive thru, it’s never ever a long wait, and instead of frustration, it’s nothing but professional and very pleasant each and every time. I’ve had multiple servers at the drive thru, each one has always been great. If you want good food AND service- this captain D’s is where it’s at !

As Joe Pesci wisely said: They $%^& in the drive-thru. Ordered a Supreme Sampler and there was no shrimp. Ordered a loaded baked potato and it wasn’t loaded. Look at your food before you drive off. Lesson learned! Quality of what I had was good and service was prompt, just missing too many items.

08/04/23 2pm. The manager seemed to have a lot going on, busy drive thru, first day employees, and she still managed to help everyone, smile and laugh. Food was hot and fresh!

My Giant Fish Sandwich was really good! Hot & fresh!! However, the young lady taking my order in the drive-thru needs more training and needs to enunciate when she speaks. I ordered 1 sandwich, and she rang in 2 sandwich combos. I guess after I told her for the 3rd time at the window instead of the speaker, the manager came over and verified my order. Good help is hard to find! ** I did order the SPICY giant fish sandwich, but I didn’t get a spicy sandwich. It still was a hot, fresh & delicious Giant Fish Sandwich. I’ll go back!

Please forget the good things that I previously said about this garbage dump. My last several delivery orders have been shorted. I’ve contacted your management, but they refused to do anything.
