At our Aiken, SC location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

I have been in the drive-thru line for 20 minutes now and have moved one space. Several people have gotten out of the line. I’ve tried calling 3 different times and no one answers. It’s Wednesday at 7 pm. This is ridiculous! **The saga continues – it’s now 30 minutes, I’ve finally placed my order, only to come around the corner to see several cars in front of me still waiting to receive their orders…

I went through the drive thru this evening for dinner. I ordered my usual and was greeted by a very nice lady. However, when I pulled over to eat before I started my travels, I had NO hushpuppies! One of the main reasons I love stopping. Then the white fish, very nice breading, but was slimy in some areas on the fish, mainly in the center of the fish. Something I’ve never seen before. This won’t stop me from coming back, but please tell your staff to be more aware whe fixing drive thru orders. Some of us can’t turn back to address the issue.

I had the most absolutely amazing experience here for lunch! Greeted with a smile, food was tasty, fresh and fast. The two beautiful ladies working the front just made my day. Iyanna & Shawna really enjoys their job and it shows. Walking around with their upbeat, happy-happy attitude is infectious. Sure did put a big Texas smile on my face. Great team here In Aiken. Always welcomed as you enter. Order At counter then sit where ever you would like. Team members bring your meals to you. They also take care of anything else you may need. They also come back by and check that everything is ok. Fish away cooked fresh. Great place for seafood fast.
