A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Sat in the drive thru 30 long grueling minutes waiting on my order. I Finally got up to the window and got my food. The Order was wrong and the food was stale then they shorted me on the rice and argued me up and down that the salmon meal only comes with one tablespoon of rice.

EXPERIENCE RUINED!!!! Went to try the garlic shrimp. I love the stuffed crabs, so I ordered the ultimate platter… the crabs had no crab, only breading…. horrible. RUINED my entire meal.

Let me start by saying, I love Captain D’s. I was so excited to see that you guys had opened back up! I came on opening day and the food was great! I came again, food was great, customer service great! So from then on, I expect that same food and service on each visit. But the last 2 times I’ve been there the food was horrible. This time I took pictures! My spicy fish was good, but they had no batter crumbs in the box and I got double fries and some of them were like lukewarm rubber bands and the others were rock hard. I ordered my husband a 3 piece fish with a baked potato and green beans. His potatoes was a tan color and really gummy. That’s a premium side, so it costs more! Also, how can you wait in line so long for food thats not fresh? Whats the point of waiting if the food isnt going to be worth the wait? Anyhow, we don’t have a lot of good food places in Conyers. So please take a little more pride in the food the you serve.

The WORSTTTTTTTTTTT Captain D’s in the world!!!!! Food is decent, but they are so slow. Slower than any McDonald’s or Zaxbys store and those stores can be SLOW. You will be in the line for 30+ minutes. Terrible service.

This place really is terrible. I waited almost 30 min for my order this evening finally ask for a refund. They refunded me but never apologized. Never treated me with any kind of decency. Everybody else got there order. But not me. I didn’t feel comfortable sitting in the restaurant. I’ll never never go back.

This location is terrible! I placed an online order & paid upfront. ETA for pickup was 8:58pm. I arrived at 9:00pm. The doors we locked an hr earlier than posted and the line was wrapped around the building. I pulled up to the drive thru window and asked about my order. A young lady advised “it’ll be a while before it’s ready”. I asked her to cancel and refund and was advised to do it online. I told her that’s not an option and was informed it’d be 3 mins to prepare my fries; I had a butterfly shrimp meal. It’s 9:17pm, still no fries! I ordered something else online from Wings & Seafood next door at 9:12pm, that order is now ready! Will never come back here and I’m disputing that charge since the children in charge didn’t try to.

I visited the Conyers, Ga location on 5/23/23 at 5:00 pm. It took 30 minutes to get our food which is absolutely inexcusable. The window attendant did not offer either an excuse or an apology for the ridiculous drive thru wait time.

Just witnessed a drive- thru employee being extremely rude to an asian customer and told her to go back to China bc she was having trouble understanding her. this was very disheartening especially with family members with non American accents. I believe the cashier was named Leighann on register 1. Very xenophobic
