At our Cumming, GA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Nice restaurant, been going here for years and never had any issues, service inside is great, drive through is very accurate. Easy in and easy out. But, be aware, they do close at 8pm. Otherwise enjoy, I think you will with the terrific fish, chicken and shrimp with great prices!

First, let me say I know there is an employee shortage. But when you take your business to DT only. At least leave a door open with a sign for door dashers. I waited in line 30 minutes for a door dash pick-up order, which was cold by the time I was able to get it. Customers of these delivery apps pay a hefty upcharge to have it delivered. Only to have food that has been sitting at the restaurant getting cold before the driver is even able to get it,
