A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. I don’t know if I went there at just the right time but the back of the store was under construction and we got the vibe that that the store had been taken over by crackheads…it was weird. We got our food and the food was okay but won’t be going here again.

So I’ve been here three times this week. The first day they forgot my hush puppies, the second day they gave me beyond salty green beans I couldn’t even eat them and today I walked inside ordered at the counter and they gave my order away or lost it. I’m not impressed & it wasn’t busy. How do you lose an order and it’s only 3 people in the restaurant please do better . Every is very nice though

So today I decided to go here on lunch. And upon me ordering the whole store seem to be following me around like I was going to rob the place. Then when I order my food they gave me a two piece dinner that tasted like salt and since wen did the combo come without a drink. $10.14 for that I should’ve just ate out the trash cane. But the worst part was there was a roach on the wall behind the cashier.

I love Captain ads and been coming to this location for months. But the food has changed. I came Thursday night and was disappointed with the fish. I figured I came on the wrong day and maybe they had a different cook. So I came again today to give it another try, the food was hot but look at the fish. It’s thin, overcooked and not like the fish I remember. Will not be returning any time soon
