A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. Service has become better at this location. ( Update ) 2/28/2023 I went to get carry out tonight and had to wait almost 40 mins to order and receive my food. I stood waiting for my food as other’s were doing , holding my number , waiting. When I became annoyed at having to wait almost 30 mins after I ordered, the cashier ( A foreign male ) says ” Would you please sit down Ma’am ” , when I refused ( due to having back pain, standing helps me ) he explained the food is made to order and not cooked ahead of time, that I should be patient. So I sat on the sofa and waited another 10 mins, I stood to look in the kitchen area and our food was just sitting in the window while he waited on customer after customer. Finally though our meal came, he bagged it, and handed it to me. When I got home and opened our boxes the food was not right. I had ordered a loaded potato and got one dry. The bread was old and chewy. The shrimp and baked fish was half burned, there was no taste at all to my fish and shrimp, other than a burned taste. My friends plate was also stale and chewy, broccoli was cold. I tasted his hush puppies and they too were stale

Teresa, I’m assuming that she’s the manager was very nice. I hate going home and finding out that I’m missing something. Teresa went out of her ways to check everything that I ordered. When she didn’t have to. She could have been lazy about it. Thanks I really appreciate it.

Food was all perfectly crisp, hot and fresh. Air-conditioning was out for 9 days according to very nice ladies working in those super hot conditions. Those workers deserve medals for working in that hot store.

No complaints on the food. The fish is always hot & fresh. So far, no matter who is servicing the drive-thru, they are courteous. I just suggest whoever is preparing the plates be a little more consistent with their portions Lol! I can go one day & get quite a bit. Come back the next day, order the same thing & my plate is a bit skimpy.

Waited in drive thru 10 mins to place order. 20 mins later I was still sitting at the drive thru mic/speaker. Never moved. Left without any food.. Not sure what more details you want. I never made it past the ordering microphone. I asked what problem was & was told resetting computer screen.

I placed an order to go online and still had to wait in the drive thru line 20 mins to get my food. That defeats the purpose of ordering online if you cannot walk inside and pick up your order. I was in a rush and ordered online because I had no time to wait in the drive thru line
