At our Mableton, GA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

I ordered a 2 piece fish and chips with baked potato and coleslaw at the drive thru when I got home it had bread where’s my hush puppies? and the coleslaw was warm because it was in with the hot food! The only good part of this meal was the potato! I was very disappointed I ate at the one in Centre Al a few weeks ago and it was so delicious I couldn’t wait to eat captain D’S again so I went here because it is close to douglasville

They couldn’t act more inconvenienced by having to do their job. They close 2 hours early everyday. Lobby is always closed with chairs up, even at 3pm. ALWAYS out of whatever you want. I don’t understand how this business could possibly be profitable.

I went through the drive-thru to place my order. When I got my food, I found out that a drink didn’t come with it. I attempted to order one, but then the Associate turned around and told me she couldn’t ring it up. So I didn’t get my drink! The food was hot & tasty. My order was taken within two minutes of pulling up. But if course, I had to wait longer than that to receive my order.

Sat in drive thru at speaker order was never taken. Pulled to window They asked had I placed an order told them I couldn’t. They said I had to wait at the point one person was working g counter. After they waited on 3-4 people came back to window took my order. Total time waiting was around 20 minutes. Ordered fish and chicken meal chicken for sure was cooked too long or the oil needed changing. This location use to be good food quality is not the same service is terrible.I can say that will be my last visit.
