At our Union City, GA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Good service. Every time we go here they seem to try to get your order correct,and actually apologize if they make a mistake. WOW That’s been our experience though others might not agree. I appreciate that; especially when I know the working conditions and salaries aren’t the best.

The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because our breadsticks were a little hard. We visited the evening of 7/27 and the lady at the drive thru window was so sweet and pleasant. Great customer service is far and few these days but this young lady delivered. Kudos to her ❤️

I like Captain D’s for good seafood fast. The service is courteous and the food seems cooked to order. My complaint with them is the same one that I have for most fast food restaurants. The prices for a drink and tea that’s half ice are ridiculous. I leave them and drink what I have at home or stop by Race Trac where I can get any size of whatever I want for a dollar and without ice.

I come here at least once a week only for one of my clients For an elderly lady every week we order the same thing. She ordered Southern style fish mill the menu says $6.99 In order to large sweet tea. When we got to the window they didn’t have large only medium and it was 16 oz which online it says the medium is 30 oz. And they charge me $7.99 for The fish meal

I ordered $30 10 pcs family meal/ fries and slaw. The fries was included in 1 section of the Styrofoam container (enough for maybe 1 person) rest of the container full of hushpuppies. I go inside to ask ab the small amount of fries for 10 pcs of fish. Woman comes out the kitchen and says ” Corporate only allows that portion of fries ” then says everyone always complain ab that, but nothing i can do, its the rules. Just awful , customer service and explanation. Blamed it on Corporate. The young lady at drive thru was on her cell phone while presenting me with my order. The entire experience was a disgusting and unprofessional.
