At our Vidalia, GA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Decided to stop during a LONG trip home and was pleasantly surprised by the place. I’ve always loved Captian D’s and this one was awesome! Nice customer service, workers were very professional and kind, condiment area was clean and stocked, and tea wasn’t overly sweet. The food was also crispy, tender and full! The lobster bites were stuffed with lobster goodness! Also, unfortunately, I didn’t get the cashiers name but she was an absolute gem (beautiful braids as well)

Cleanest restaurant in vidalia. These ladies were washing down the WALLS…THE WALLS!!! The counters, the tables and the chairs. I was curious, so I went to the restrooms and what do you know..CLEAN. SHINY CLEAN!! Smelled so good too!! Food was amazing as well. Thank you
