At our Commerce, GA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

I have visited this place for several years now. I always thought that it was the best Captain D’s. Not any more. The place has tanked. Signs by the door saying “Drive Through Only.” You have to get out and walk up to see the sign. Employees sitting in their cars behind the restaurant all on their phones. When you do catch them open, the food quality has dropped off the charts. I hate it when a place I love turns into this. Don’t go here!

This location looks a bit sketchy, however they are always eager to go above and beyond. They are just sweet and kind. The food is seafood/fastfood, so it’s goodish. It’s not my favorite food, but my husband loves it and the service is wonderful.

Need to Open the inside, Not everyone wants to eat in there car. There is no reason to have it closed. There was 5 workers just sitting in there. Better yet just close the store if rhe crime is that bad.

Waited 20 minutes in the drive thru while 3 employees were sitting outside smoking. Got home with my order of q chicken and fish dinner and had NO chicken and NO fries. Won’t go back to this location.

Warning,check your drive through orders.I ordered 3 giant fish sandwiches,get home with order only to discover that each sandwich contained 1 pc.of fish broken in half on each sandwich.The giant fish sandwich has always had 2 filets.Really disappointed at being cheated ,I,ve been a customer for better than 40 yrs..
