At our Augusta, GA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

I ordered spicy catfish. When I got my order, I asked if it was spicy. Cashier said I should of asked for spicy when I ordered I told her that I did. She took box back and yelled to someone “throw some spice on it. That’s exactly what he did it was just sprinkled over fish- what a mess! That is my last trip there.

I had to use the restroom & the female at the register lean over to the side as I was walking said “You can’t use the restroom unless you buying something”. That’s crazy cause I use to work there & we never said that. So you mean to tell me I gotta spend at least $3 to use the restroom. Horrible dining experience. The dining room smelled of sewer upon entering the restaurant. I should have went with my first gut and left right then but my mother insisted on dining there as we had been traveling for hours and she needed to rest and get something to eat. We waited 20 minutes for cold food and and my daughter did not get the side of Mac and cheese I ordered her. We were greeted warmly upon entering and the customer service was great although our order was incomplete and it didn’t taste the best we still tried to enjoy our meal, shortly after we left we all became very nauseated. Safe to say that I do NOT recommend dining at this location and I will definitely not be returning to this store location in the future.

I’m a senior citizen white male, I walked into the restaurant about 1 hour or more to use the restroom and wash my hands. The young black woman said you walked into the wrong door I said I wanted to go to their restroom first she said our mens room is out of service. I said if someone will watch I can use the ladies restroom to wash up she said it’s out of service also and we have no restroom here for you . Racist people come in all colors because people keep hate in their hearts. I want ever go back, your next to close your doors, evilness will close your doors young black lady and why aren’t yall not hiring white people to work there??? RACIST PLACE

I went through the drive-thru and the cashier was prompt and courteous. The food seemed fresh until I tried the hushpies and they had no sesoning or onions in them they were straight cornmeal very bland. The baked potato was fresh and the cheese sticks were fresh. The outside establishment needs some TLC the drive-through smelled sour like a garbage can maybe it just needs to be washed down.
