A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Horrible . Pulled up to the drive thru at 10 45pm. Asked the manager on duty to make sure all of my food was fresh and hot. It was not. It was old , refried, burnt . I’m very unhappy. And I spent almost 40.00. I will be there first thing to get my refund. !

Everything about this establishment has improved over the years except the wait time. Now I get it, fish isn’t really fast food, what I don’t get is why no matter how many people are in line there’s going to be a wait. The amount of time you spend waiting on food is longer than the amount of time it would take to drive to the opposite coast of the USA catch the fish yourself drive back home and cook it yourself.

This was my 1st time going into this restaurant. There was a very pleasant vibe and a great staff that greets you going in. The food was absolutely delicious and freshly made as you order. Whether you are dining in or using the take out option, they show you your food: decline, accept or add on. Maybe even tell them what is missing. I loved it and will go again and again when I visit my family in Fort Valley Georgia. I couldn’t ask for a better restaurant…kisses everyone

Dining room was closed at 9pm, don’t know why. Drive thru cashier suggested 5 shrimp add on, yet failed to put it in order. Missing an order of hush puppies as well. So essentially I spent 15 on a lemon pepper fish dinner.

The customer service is horrible. I came one night around 9. The person was about to take my order when her phone rang, and I was told to wait a moment. There was only 1 car ahead of me. I waited a good 10 minutes before driving away from there. I hope management reads this and that they work on their service skills.
