At our Douglas, GA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Restaurant was out of fries, corn and green beans. Told us we had to pick from the other sides. We were charged for the other sides even though we paid for fries with the meal. Why should we have to pay extra for the other sides when you have none of the “free” sides available? Very disappointed in this cisit

About 3 months ago I had a terrible experience with C D’s. Waited in the drive thru line for almost an hour, had already had to order substitutes and when I finally got to the window, I was told yet another item was unavailable!!! Took me this long to try again! SOOO tried this Saturday at 4:00 pm. Went inside to order the flounder meal. Everything was absolutely delicious: vegetables (cooked perfectly) were separated so their juices didn’t touch the southern fried flounder, which was not greasy, but tender and wonderful! I really enjoyed this meal so much!!! I will be back!!!

I went to this capt d’s and they were just opening, so my food is very fresh. I met Mrs. Brenda and she is a delight even with just leaving the hospital last night and opening up the store today (against dr. Orders mind you). She made sure I had everything I needed and even upsold me on the funnel cake Stix. The store was very clean the food was delicious and when I’m in the area I’m definitely going to stop by.

I went to the drive thru in Douglas, Ga and it took 45 minutes. They didn’t tell us they didn’t have any crab until pickup. The fish was so greasy that I couldn’t eat it. I have a Marketing Degree and word of mouth goes a long way. Where was their Manager. This is very bad for their franchise. You need the close the doors, yours loosing business.

I went with my family to eat there the lady finally came from the back went to drive thru walked right past us standing waiting to order took their order and walked right past us and went to the back so we left. They need to get someone in there that will take people’s orders and they weren’t anybody even in there but I want be back

Celeste has the UGLIEST attitude. No “hello” or “have a good day” just throws the bag at you and shuts the window. Went in the other day because I didn’t receive a full cup of Mac n cheese the day before and the second I walked in, she gave me an UGLY look. And, when I explained that I was told to come by and show my receipt to get a free Mac n cheese as compensation for the little amount I received the day before, I was given the same amount. Like, if you’re not going to fill the cup up, get smaller sized cups so other people won’t come by complaining!

First time going in a while, had a terrible experience the last time, this visit was a pleasant change from the last. Food was hot, fresh, and prepared quickly. Only real complaints to be had was with the coleslaw being warm, but that was quickly rectified. And the breading on the bottoms of my fish was soggy with grease. Only reason I didnt rate 5 stars. Id recommend it, just be sure to tell them you want your food hot/fresh!

Suppose to open at 10:30. We sat in the drive through at 10:40 with no answer. We asked if they were open? They said give them 10 minutes. Orrrrrr crazy idea…. open on time and not have employees hanging outside.

I will admit I always liked your food, when you got a descent cook. Today at a location in Georgia when I live in FL on a little bis trip, food was good, service good . But put a little money into this location needs updating remodel. Otherwise good stuff.
