A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

I went to this location on 5/28/23@4:54pm to get food when I got to the front window I had a 50.0 I was informed by the cashier Tania that she couldn’t take my money because they just changed shifts and could give me change she stated they didn’t have enough money to break it which sounds fishy my food was 9.67 so you telling me you didn’t have 40.00 in chance to give back I wasn’t sure if I had enough on my card but I did thank God I would like to know what are your practices regarding this I’m highly upset I mean what if I didn’t have enough money on my card and the cashier was rude saying well ma’am it’s not my fault etc but she said it ugly I really think this ridiculous at almost 5m the store doesn’t have 40.00

Wonderful, outstanding and fantastic is how I will describe my visit here. Food was hot and looked liked the commercial ❤. Service was text book. Store was very clean, especially for weekend, and with the 1000 children running around from the crossplex arena across the street. Will keep coming back .

Awful. I placed my order, blackened tilapia and grilled shrimp. 1st I had to place my order, pay then take a number to display when I parked. It took 30 minutes. The food was steaming hot BUT either the grill needed cleaning or they tried to blacken the bottom of the fish. The green beans were good but the fish turned my stomach. I’ll be going to Texas Roadhouse tomorrow to get a decent grilled salmon dinner.

Just left there and I thought I was gonna be able to grab a quick lunch but ended up waiting half an hour. They somehow handed out about 7 wrong orders which caused my wait to be long. I finally get it and its awful. I mean, my grilled fish is burnt, rice crunchy; the best part was the breadstick. Do better Shirley and team.
