At our Nashville, TN location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

I mean fast food these days is hit or miss. Captain D’s has been pretty consistent but it’s just ok. I think many people go for the nostalgia. I say that because a lot of elderly people eat there. The food is way too salty for me but not terrible. I still go from time to time

I was in town visiting and took a Uber to the location after 7 PM. The lobby closes at 7 but the manager was kind enough to let us come in order and eat. Before they closed at eight.

I did not have a good experience to say the least. I ordered 5. 3 piece fish from the menu at 299 each. Now mind you nothing reads catfish nuggets. They give me 2 small boxes with all 5 orders stuff between them. I ordered 1. Captains plate with chicken,fish and shrimp for 8.99 and 1 order of clams and shrimp. I received trash the reason give for my 5 orders of fish being put into to boxes the little girl said (we have to save our boxes)

Ordered through the drive thru. Portions were small compared to the price. I gave 5 stars for atmosphere but I really don’t know as I did not go in the restaurant. The lady at the window was pleasant so if everyone there is like her then they deserve 5 stars for atmosphere.
