At our Inglewood, TN location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

The only reason I’m giving you guys a 1 star is because the hush puppies I ordered were decent, but nothing to brag about. This is my first time trying this restaurant so I was excited. A sign was on the menu that stated if the cashier didn’t offer a dozen Gold’n crispy shrimp then it’s free. I made it aware to the cashier that she didn’t mention the dozen shrimp when telling me the total to my order & when I got to the window, the cashier (Janiah) said “they said you can’t get it”. That is very unprofessional of the establishment and I will not be returning. Not only was I not given what is supposed to receive because they failed to mention the item, I also had to wait in line (the first person in line) for 6-8 minutes. I had to call the store and ask if someone was taking orders at the window because I have been waiting for a while.

Went thru drive thru associate was very rude and we waited in line for 20 min. Then when we got our food the Mac n cheese was not even heated at all. It felt like it was just taken out of the cooler. Will never go back!! The girl in drive thru really need to be taught customer service or this place will not be open long. 3 people in my group and all of us are very unhappy. 1 was her 1st time there and she said she would never go back!! I agree!! Horrible!!

I ordered food via Doordash for pickup. The app said the food was ready. I went to the restaurant and there was a long line of cars In the drive-through and the Dining floor was closed due to them being understaffed. I waited over 15 minutes and the line didn’t move. If you are under staffed…. turn off your Doordash! Definitely don’t say the food is ready when it’s not.

Ask and you shall receive!! Asked the manager if he could drop some hot fish and he did it with a smile. Food was fresh and good! Staff is always kind and attentive. Not one bad experience at this location.
