At our Tullahoma, TN location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Love the food from here. I used to get my dinner right after work, but the new hours now make it so I have to go somewhere else. Online hours say open until 10pm but they now close at 8pm for whatever reason. What kind of fast food place closes at 8pm?! That’s literally when a lot of people eat dinner. Sad because I loved this place and I can’t even get it now because of the early closing.

This used to be a great store but tonight on Saturday September 18th at Tullahoma tn location we wasn’t aware they were closing at 7pm no biggie I waited in line I know atleast 10 mins yet again no problem with that. The guy gave me my food and I get home open everything up getting ready to have a great meal and………………the fries were hard as a rock, hush puppies were so rubbery and the fish was rubbery and not to mention redipped to reheat so they didn’t have to cook again. I called the store the lady manager that answered off the rip had an attitude and was quick to tell me I was wrong,that she cooked it fresh. In order to even attempt to eat it I had to put it in my air fryer to somewhat revive this crop. I understand being short handed but come on now. Get it together cause we love captain ds.

Placed order on app at 509 pm. Said food would be ready at 531 pm. Checked in with cashier at 535 pm. Was told food was almost. Ready waited . Person in front of me ordered after I walked in got hee food and left. At 6 pm I was still waiting. Was told by staff the did not know I was waiting. I paid online and already checked in twice. Pass poor customer relations.

Food was really good the workers were really nice and polite. But it was 90 degrees inside their air is out again. All the workers had sweat running off them. We were sweating just sitting in there eating. We asked and was told they have not had air in a while.

Just had a fresh cooked wonderful meal. There was nothing lacking here today. Kayla was on our receipt so I hope she was the kind lady waiting on us. We enjoyed dinner in a very relaxing and clean restaurant. Best Captain Ds experience ever. Thank you Kayla and staff for a great experience well worth the drive from Decherd Tn. Food was amazing. Ordered 2 orders shrimp skewers, received 1. Ordered cheesecake, did not receive. Wanted cocktail sauce, yet again did not receive. Did not realize until home 15 miles away.

First as we ordered the total sounded off but ok then get to the window and of course the total was different then get home and was shorted on shrimp I paid for six I want six of them and really rethinking as to why I eat there when most of the workers look as if they don’t shower

We must have followed the people below us because we received almost the same lackluster service from this poorly educated (lacks decency and serious customer service skills) kid at the intercom. He makes us wait out in the cold for 7-10 mins before acknowledging us, then proceeds to tell us they close at 7:30…which is it? 7 or 7:30?? He claimed they were short staffed – when they only had 4 cars total at our time AND the dining room was closed. You must be incredibly slow not to be able to handle 4 cars! I’ve served tons of drive through customers way better than this and I was new on that job. Please find something more suitable and something you can actually do or go back to school to learn some common decency at least.

Food is usually good. They are getting friendlier too. The only issue I have with them is that it is the exception and not the rule that they get my order correct. I don’t like holding the line up to check everything and by the time I get home I don’t want to go back because I have the majority of my food and once I go back and pick up the missing stuff then the majority will be cold but I’ll have my fresh fries… Other than that, it’s fine.
