At our Chattanooga, TN location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

I’ll make this review short and sweet. Drive thru order, deluxe seafood platter. Paid almost $13. Food had the most awful taste, like it was old and cooked in old grease. Couldn’t eat it, threw most of it away. Very disappointing.

Tea was fresh and delicious. The lemon was fresh . All the employees were friendly and very personable. Fish was hot and fresh, green beans and broccoli were hot and fresh. Love their senior deals on Wednesday and Sunday.

I like Captain D’s. It’s something we have once a month or so. Highway 58 in Chattanooga is a good location. We go through the drive-thru these days. The prices have gone up some and I don’t seem to receive as many coupons in the mail as we did in the past, but all-in-all, it’s a good value for the money. We always get the 10-piece Family Meal with fries and cole slaw. You can get corn on the cob or fried okra, but it costs extra. That being said, the fried okra is always good.

I have never in my life experienced fear and disrespect at any fast food location until today. Oct 17th this location was so disrespectful. The manager yelled at me multiple times and aggressively ran out the building to my car as I was in the drive through and came to my vehicle while I had my 4 year old son. I asked for the information for the manager and I was refused. I hope someone can address this soon

My girlfriend and I went through the drive through and the young woman on the other side of the intercom rushed our order by interrupting me as I ordered. Once we were at the drive through window she quickly took my money very rudely as I attempted to request add something else to my meal but she stated that I had to go through the drive through again to order it. Then she came back and just dumped my order in my lap and closed the window. Wow!!!
