At our Sparta, TN location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

The staff worked quickly to get us our food. My kids said their chicken was kind of tough, but had good flavor. My husband and I enjoyed our catfish meals. The fish was hot, fresh, and good which is a plus most restaurants don’t cook greens beans well so I was surprised that I liked them him. They loved the corn as well. I would visit again..

Must See Tennessee
I Didn’t get a receipt, but I also didn’t recieve all of my food. Manager says there is nothing they can do about it. Spent 48.44 for a family meal and only received half of what i was supposed to get. Needless to say I’m not very happy.

Be careful when ordering the Double Dozen shrimp meals, it’s a tongue twister. The girl at the counter may hear you wrong and then you’re stuck with something you really didn’t want. When you try to fix it, you’ll get “the look”, from the employee.
