At our Clarksdale, MS location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Ok, Its take out…. So be guided by that. It is nota fancy place. Its exactly what it sets out to be. The food was ok and the service was fine. I saw some struggles with the customers. I believe this is because they are short staffed and not anyone’s fault. if anything the menu is too large and there is a lot of items that people get confused by. I think the place would be well served with a little simplification. However all in all its a fine place and I have zero problem returning.

They didn’t have my order on the screen after I ordered at the speaker. Had to sit in line for 20 minutes before moving to the window. Then, still had to pull up and wait on my food. Need to do better

They really should do better with classifying a piece of fish. I literally got one chunk of fish, and it was the length of my thumb and the width of both my thumbs together. I’ve never seen a catfish that small. Ridiculously priced and not proportionate for the quantity of fish… this is not a whole piece, it’s not even a half piece.

Captain D’s was terrible today. My shrimp was burn, cold and not fresh. The drink was not even good. And how can you mess up a drink. I can’t tell you. This was my second time coming here. My forty dollars is down the drain.
