At our Glasgow, KY location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.
Fast-food chain serving fried fish & shrimp combo meals along with gumbo & funnel cakes. Based on 202 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 3.9 stars. Price $

Very friendly place. The boy that waited on us was super, kind, and made sure we enjoyed our meals. Because of him we will definitely be back

Love Captain Deed haven’t ate there for years because we had ate at the one Somerset Kentucky and it was nasty we only took 2 bites of our food and threw it away and we said we would never eat there again but we did in Glasgow KY. The sad part of it all is well never got our money back. We both had the 2 piece catfish.

Food was good but for the price of mac n cheese, they are skimpy. I used a coupon and they tried to hassel me because it was expired by a few days. The chicken was fresh but pieces were small, fries were hot and fresh…but the mac n cheese made me want to cry lol everything pictured in photo was a little over 7 dollars. In my opinion, it wasn’t enough food for the price.

Always a great experience, never had a bad one. Food is always fresh and hot. My favorite to stop in when I get to Glasgow ky. Staff is always pleasant. They don’t advertise that they give military discount, they appreciate us veterans.

No one was at counter we waited a good 10 minutes thought maybe all employees had staged a walk out. Finally a young lady appeared from the back yelled back to the kitchen staff to get in the kitchen we have people put here. Which should have been my clue to leave but we stayed. Fries was cold and raw. Coke tastes like pure seltzer water Cole slaw was sour. Never again captain d. I will not spend any more only there

I was very impressed with Captain D’s. There are not a lot of places in Kentucky to get seafood. I had the captain’s platter which consist of shrimp, stuffed crab, two filets of white fish. The seafood was battered lightly and did not overpower the rest of the dish. Food was delicious in service was amazing. Cashier actually walked to the table beside me with my food and made sure I was comfortable before leaving my side. Very good customer service. Restaurant was clean had a few people it was just after lunch hour everybody was laughing and having a good time. I will definitely be going back to Captain D’s again and Glasgow KY.

Rude young lady working in the kitchen. I’m guessing she’s the one who prepared my plate, because it was poorly done. I ordered the lobster roll meal with two additional lobster rolls. Practically all of the lobster meat was on top of the rolls instead of being placed inside the rolls. The fries were stale and cold. At least the okra was hot. I couldn’t get sweet tea like I wanted because it was old and lightly sweetened.

The food is usually good here, but on Mother’s Day, when the inside dining area was apparently hopping, the food I got at the drive-through was stale. How can that be when it’s busy and I’m certain fresh food is coming out of the kitchen to keep up? Did they have something already packed up ahead of time in anticipation of the Mother’s Day rush? If so, it was a major fail on this day.
