This fairly new Captain D’s fills a need for a fish restaurant on the west side of Chillicothe. Like most restaurants in the area right now, this store is suffering from a lack of staff. It would be wise to call ahead to make sure it’s open before going out of your way to dine here. A sign on the door stated that they would be closing at 7 PM the day I visited.

Miss Tish Creates
Let me start by saying…the food was very good. The restaurant was very short staffed (only 2 employees were there) so our food took 30 mins to come out. The cashier was working very hard to bring all the trays out to customers. Me and other customers agreed if she just called out the ticket numbers we’d pick up our food & save her the running around. My husband got the wrong food, after it was corrected it was still wrong but we didn’t want to bother the staff who was working so hard. Food was good, fresh & hot. The staff deserves a medal for keeping the restaurant running.

We had lunch at this location today. The two ladies working in the front were amazing. Very friendly, respectful, pleasant and helpful. My young granddaughter and I had a sweet lunch. Extra thanks for help with the restroom!

This place is a dive. Restaurant was filthy, trash overflowing in womans bathroom. Mens restroom was disgusting. The dining room floor probably hadn’t been swept or mopped in days, and the tables hadn’t been cleaned at all. NOT 1 table was clean. We were so grossed out that we went somewhere else for Mothers Day.

1st experience at Captain D’s. Selection and prices were reasonable. Food was good. Was a lot of trash all over the floor, but looked like they might have been understaffed. Overall good experience though.

I would give zero if I could. Tonight 03/07/23 as I ordered and sat and watched for my food . I watched two male employees mess around spray each other with Spic and Span God knows if it got in my food some of my food has a weird taste. To the point my lips were burning. I’m sorry but spraying each other with spic and span is not work professional and should not be happening at all in a workplace I will be calling n the morning.
