At our Hazelwood, MO location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Terribly cooked fish and thrown in the box like they really don’t care at all. Place looked new but the staff was extremely loud and rowdy looked like a party while one person half worked long wait when I was the only one in the drive through just an absolutely terrible experience. They should fire all the staff and try again or i guarantee they won’t last another 2 months.

I went today my order was 51.00 dollars for 3 meals. The macaroni and cheese was old and overcooked . I ordered a 4piece battered fish the two on to were fresh the two on bottom were old and overcooked. The hushpuppies were old and terrible. The coleslaw was warm yuck and the fries were old and soggy. As a frequent customer I was disappointed I won’t come to this location again I will stick to hallsferry. I’m sure the employees are cooking the food ahead of time to move the line faster. The service was quick and the employees were ok not friendly but ok.
