A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

This is one of the cleanest and nicest fast food restaurants I’ve eaten at in recent memory. There was actual silverware here. Food arrived fast and we were exceptionally happy with it. Kids loved the fries.

Have tried this place twice and I really don’t plan on coming back unless it’s like literally last option… food is very greasy and not tasty. Especially the fries they were greasy yet undercooked… also when we pulled up there was a group of workers huddled out back ran inside as soon as we got out but they left questionable odor in the air.. if you know what I mean…. probably why the food isn’t very good because they are too zooted to tell when it’s done or not anyways I just think it’s not worth the money it’s more worth it to drive all the way to poplar bluff and get something alot better tasting!
