At our Lebanon, MO location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

We paid for our food n waited 35 minutes to get our food. The bathroom smells like an outhouse. So gross. I didn’t like bumping into the cactus hanging off the sidewalk outside. N the lady (Liv) at the register argued with me when they brought me a plain instead of a fully loaded baked potato like we paid for.

My husband and I stopped here to pick up supper on the way home from Walmart, we ordered and sat in the line for 15 minutes or so I was really disappointed on how our food turned out, it wasn’t as good as it has been in the past. The fish and shrimp had been overcooked and it was all so very hard and crunchy to eat. It’s a good restaurant, I just wish I could of been as good as it was in the past it was a waste of money for the price we spent on the entire order I wouldn’t recommend it at this time!

Best fish for the money anywhere! Loved my fish and chips!! there are only a few places that I go for them and it I’d usually twice as much for half the fish. Unfortunately I was on a road trip so this is probably the only time that I can visit! Highly recommend this specific Capt Ds! Delish!

From the time I was waiting to get my order takin to getting the food 15 min. Absolutely horrible times on getting the orders taking and food out. The service sure has gone down. They don’t even apologize for the time I took.

Wife and I have been coming here for quite some time. Always had excellent food and service from the staff. We always ask for our fish to be cooked to order cause we like our fish hot right out of the grease. However, for the first time after requesting the same, we were told our order was fresh and got served warm fish and was very disappointed with it. We hope that our next visit will be better, otherwise we will go somewhere else.
