At our Baytown, TX location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

We waited forever for our food. I had to ask for our drinks. I had to ask for our dipping sauce because they forgot to put it in the bag. Girl at drive through window wasn’t very friendly maybe she was having a rough day.

I cannot say how excited I was to run a hometown favorite! The customer service was beyond outstanding. I appreciated the cleanliness and freshness of our food. I surely will come back again. Thank you for providing amazing service to customers like me. Social distancing of tables so guest could eat and enjoy there loved ones is priceless. If I have a suggestion it would be to stay honesty, true, and loyal to food and people – the strawberry topping for the cheesecake magnificent

Save your hard earned money and go anywhere else but here. Everything I ordered tastes like it was fried yesterday and reheated in the microwave today. It’s truly disgusting. The interior of the restaurant appears dirty and not well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful though.

Hardly a soul in the place and the restaurant was pretty dirty. As I was walking to the counter, the only cashier was sitting on his phone and had to mentally register my presence and seemed less than enthused. I don’t expect people to be chipper and happy all the time, but I dont expect to be looked at like the biggest inconvenience of you day. The quality of the food was poor and the service was not bad but wasn’t much better. I will still eat and enjoy captain d’s, just not at this location.

I pulled into the parking lot of Captain D’s on Garth Rd at 8:45pm and the young man inside turned off all the lights and locked the doors so I had to go thru the drive thru windon. He tells me, that they closed at 8:45pm. So I couldn’t order any food. On your website says close at 9:00.
