Don’t sleep on Captain Frosty’s. I tried several lobster rolls on The Cape and Captain Frosty’s was the best. The onion rings are excellent. The restaurant is very clean and well-maintained. Fast friendly service…we will return. The outside seating is very nice as well.

I’ve been here a few times and have had a perfect experience every time! My mom and I have a tradition that the beginning and the end of summer, we come here to split a clam belly plate. The portion is huge and even comes with two clam cakes! We got extra cakes because we love them so much. We both were stuffed from just splitting this. So it’s perfect to share or have by yourself for dinner. We love our tradition and already looking forward to our end of the summer plate ☺️

Fantastic clam shack on Rt 6A in Dennis. We look forward to it opening every Spring as locals. Clam fritters are round and puffy with real clam bits in a crusty batter surrounding a very flavorful dough. Fries are tasty. Chowder is amazing and fried shrimp are small but not rubbery. Great for takeout – bags are ready on the counter or outside separate from the line for food. Ice cream has its own line so things move along. Picnic tables outside or knotty pine dining area inside. Hamburg is also very good with a unique roll that is almost sweet.

We’ve been to Captain Frosty numerous times during our annual visits to the Cape. Solid service, nice space (parking can be stressful), and, depending on what you get, the food is good. Lobster roll and anything fried is delicious. Not a huge fan of the scallop bowl. The scallops were a bit mushy and it lacked some flavor. Looking forward to returning next year!

I think I would give it a 3.5 star if possible. Lobster roll was just ok as the meat tasted a bit dry. I think they are probably more known for their fish as the fish sandwich we had was pretty good and tasted fresh. The line to order was also a bit chaotic but I guess it’s similar to other restaurants in cape cod.

Cute little place with slow service. The clam cakes were OK. A little dense but the flavor was good. The fish was terrible. It was a thin skinny piece of fish with 0 seasoning on it. Atlantic cod perhaps but not from local waters like it should be. Chowder also had little flavor, it mostly tasted like cream or milk.

Food here is always good. We look forward to stopping here when we come out to the Cape. The onion rings are the best I have ever had and my daughter absolutely loves the clam cakes. She could get an order of just these and be happy.
