You want some great catfish? This is the place! Best hushpuppies I’ve ever had, and I’m not even a fan of them. Catfish filets or catfish nuggets. They have several other varieties of fish, as well as fried chicken. They have a plethora of sides. I like their fried zucchini sticks and fried okra. I can order a large dinner and have 2 meals. Portions are generous.

Hands down one of the best East side restaurants… Food is always fresh and good!! I can’t say enough literally. The chicken wings, fresh collard greens and gulf shrimp are good!! Only thing they are missing is a good Mac and cheese recipe and corn rolls..I don’t like how they’re stingy with the rolls; Ordered 10 wings and got one roll for me and two children. Overall menu is vast and they have perch and different kinds of fish.. Also, the inside is clean as well.. Keep up the good work Captain Jacks!!

This is a newer establishment, and time will tell how they do. My rating is based off of one experience. While it took a while to get the food in the drive through, and the person taking my order had to have me repeat my order several times, the food was worth the wait.

I will say they have improved!! Me and my husband went on my lunch break and ate inside. The person working the front was nice and friendly… The food was hot and fresh and absolutely perfect!!! We will be back!!

This place is the real deal. The catfish plate with 2 sides and a drink is the best meal for a very reasonable price I’ve had in ages. Great service and friendly help too. I’ll be back .
