Absolute dive bar and it’s just what the doctor ordered, strong, inexpensive drinks and yummy comfort food. Friendly staff and great service made this an enjoyable day out. Lots of TV ‘s for sports fans as well.

Great service, decent stiff drinks, funky vibe with pictures and signs all over the ceiling and walls along with decent prices, pool tables is why this place gets 5. The Italian grinder was almost addictive. Recommend it. Burger could have been more seasoned. Likely premade patties. Still decent. I wouldn’t say it’s worth driving from another city to come to this place, but if you’re in the area, you should try it. I experienced nothing like the other reviewers who said they got cut off or smelled like fire.. not sure what that’s all about. Pretty sure I had one more drink than I needed.

I absolutely love coming to this bar. The bartenders are amazing and very wonderful people to talk to. Minah makes the best drinks so far and I enjoy every time I’ve been here. The other gal bartender I don’t know her name but she has tattoos on her arm, she is a fabulous person. She has remembered me every time I have walked through the door. Thank you captain jacks for a great experience EVERYTIME I come here. Keep up the good service.

I got fish and chips (but with tots instead), minutes before last call. Classically done fish is just done right. Tots are great. But omg: the tartar sauce is great and the ranch is to die for. All done exactly right, even late at night and to go!

Service was terrible. Very slow and some of the bartenders seemed intoxicated. The were playing only old music like 40’s-50’s music. They’re was hardly anyone there on a Saturday night. Nothing like what it used to be like at all a couple years back. It used to be fun and hopping all the time now it’s just kinda sad to see this local landmark bar that we used to go to all the time now all rundown with hardly anyone there and with very poor service.
