We’re visiting so we didn’t know the opening time and got there at 3:20. They didn’t open until 4pm so we patiently waited 40 minutes in the car. So glad we did. We got Ribeye dinner, chicken tenders, and blackened salmon. The food was deliciously delicious. Waitress was patient and attentive. The dining atmosphere was so relaxing even with kids and the lake view is beautiful. During our meal a man, owner or manager, came by and checked on us. He seemed like he really cares about our food, our visit, rather than just taking a poll! Well-done Captain John’s! Oh BTW, we got unlimited steaming hot rolls with butter before dinner.

Had the most relaxing dinner, the view was fondable ,the clouds,boats birds ducks. My son had the filet mignon,it was so tender, best flavor. We had the fried catfish with hush puppies, sweet potato and salad. I ate every bite. Hats off to the chief. The waitresses were amazing. You can eat inside our out. Reminds me of the sea resturants on n the beach in California. A place to put on your bucket list.

Everything was excellent! The waitress was amazing. She had a great sense of humor and answered our off the wall questions with a smile. Loved the view of the lake from our table. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is in the Eufala area. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the strawberry, pecan salad is so good.

I had an amazing dining experience at Captain Johns in Eufaula. The atmosphere was warm, inviting and nautical themed which really added to the lakeside location. The service was excellent – our server was friendly, attentive and made great recommendations from the menu. They even gave a drink to our dog since we were sitting on the back patio.

We don’t live in Eufaula but, after our first visit we had to return. We were so glad we did. My husband and our friend had steak and it was perfect (he’s very picky about his steak, too) I had the blackened snapper smothered with étouffée. So delicious! Brooke was our waitress and she was fantastic. She was very sweet and totally on top of everything we could need. Even though a rush came in right before we ordered, she never looked rushed or missed a refill on the guys pop refills …., which is definitely a (embarrassing) task in its own! She handled it like a pro! The theme and atmosphere is great, everything was clean and, the view looking out at the lake was pretty and relaxing. Being able to feed the ducks and walk out on the pier was a bonus to an already perfect dining experience. We will definitely be back !

Oh my gosh, my husband and I so enjoyed our meal! From the juicy gator bites followed by the red snapper and the best hush puppies. We sat by the window and enjoyed looking out to Lake Eufaula. Our waitress was very nice and provide answers to our questions along with great service. The only drawback was the flies in our corner booth.

I think we would have enjoyed it more of we went at a less busy time. We waited forever for our table and our food which wasn’t anything special. Not recommended for families with kids who get antsy waiting over 45 minutes for food. I would have liked the atmosphere if it were just me and the husband on a date night.
