Excellent steak! Best one I’ve had in a long time, and it was the $11 NY strip special. Comes with baked potato, drink purchase required (pop was $2.50), Sun-Thurs, cash only. Neighborhood bar atmosphere, so if you are looking for Ruth’s Chris vibe, this is not it. If you want a steak that is BETTER than Ruth’s Chris, this IS it.

Went there on a whim because most all the reviews here were good. There was one 1* dudes review but when you read it basically it was him dumping on the place for his own mistake. Well Ron greets you in his Cowboy hat as per review states, we sat immediately and got us our drinks then said he’ll take our orders after serving some other guests there food which we absolutely understood told us he was sold out of a few cuts with some humor in his voice, but it’s a steak house it happens, there were some other 1* “karen” that were told this as well that obviously doesn’t grasp humor. We ordered and got our food in very reasonable time. Now is it pricey?? Maybe a little. Was it good?? It was delicious. Will we go again?? WE ABSOLUTELY WILL!! Some other reviews knocked the atmosphere and lighting. The atmosphere is good, it’s quiet so you don’t have to worry about having to talk to the person your with and not be heard, on lighting it’s maybe a little on the dim side we went when it was still daylight out so once night came if additional lighting wasn’t tuned on it could be an issue. But we went for the food and it was delicious PERIOD END OF STORY AND WE WILL DEFINITELY GO AGAIN!!

Went here on a whim trying to find somewhere to eat on a late Sunday night and we weren’t disappointed. Good food, quick service, $10.99 special for New York Strip w/baked potato, we will definitely be going back. Owner is very friendly and actually acts like he cares about his customers.

We walked in on a Sunday night hoping for a steak that was cooked right. Captain Ron’s Corral cooked it perfectly and the gentleman running the joint was great. He made us feel at home even though there seemed to only be a few regulars late at night. Great staff, great steaks, and it’s awesome it is not a big corporation that produces that kind of quality.

I found this location via Google gps. Once I arrived, I found a barren lot and an ominous run down building with zero cars. My gut reaction was to leave as quickly as possible. No thanks.
