Ambience was great Food came out within 5 minutes from ordering. My guess is they prepare it before hand & reheat it So they disguise the mediocre food with a lot of cheese. I couldn’t tell the difference from the chile relleno & the enchilada. It all tasted the same. Aside from the quick reheated food delivery, service was slow. Prices were ok.

You can tell this place has history! It almost feels like a throwback, but in a good way. The food is fantastic, with excellent taste, flavor and ingredients! I live about 200 yards from it and I’m just now experiencing it. It’s one of the better Mexican restaurants in the San Gabriel Valley.

I love this place. It’s got old-school ambiance, with a big bang cats (banquettes) and the lighting is perfect. It feels like a family-run place from way back, like the way old Los Angeles restaurants used to be.they don’t have shrimp but they have crab and I got an amazing seafood chimichanga, and the ant got flautas for the first time, in chicken and she loved them it was all around such a great experience, the service is outstanding, the owner asked me how everything was, and I was really impressed with everything.

First time since the pandemic. The dark cozy atmosphere always makes the eating experience complete. I had to eat my favorite chili Verde. They also have some of the best chips and salsa. There mixed drinks are so good. Glad to have had a little taste of what my normal life should be.

It’s quiet and intimate, but it is almost too dark in there to see. The food is delicious!

I used to eat here several years ago and decided to try it again. The decor is old, from the 70s the rug on the floor is dirty. The air conditioning was on and it was evening and freezing inside. I see that the place has new owners and I joke that they redecorate and clean up. The food was ok and the service was slow. I don’t think I will be returning
