2.5 stars. Inconsistent- either a hit or a miss. The food is decent, but not without its hiccups. Pickup for take out always takes 10-15 minutes longer than they say. Spent $10 on a side of waffle fries to get this small amount.

Our family has been a long time loyal Carbones fan and visit a number of locations. This one however charges $4 for a soda and I didn’t even get a refill. Nor did anyone in our party. And the prices are high especially on the cheese bread. And then get the check and there is a processing fee for using a card. Last time we will be going to this unfortunately.

Came here with our kids. Spent $18 on a large pepperoni pizza that was mediocre at best. Server threw out our BOXED leftovers that we went back to grab before leaving. High-schoolers running the front gave us a hard time about THEIR mistake in throwing out our food. Plus side was they did right by us in re-making a pizza to bring home.

“I used to work here a couple of years ago and man! It was a terrific experience for me, now much minors get very excited to get a job. I was to when i was a teenager. But this place? Never, not even for a part time job. It was like being held hostage! Men would go in the women’s bathroom and smoke. And a man would stare at me up and down asking for my name. I was very uncomfortable when i worked. But hey, anything to help out with bills right? As a grown business owner i would never come here. And the paying was terrible in a month i haven’t made $130 yet. I would never recommend this job at all. A job should be somewhere you feel safe and can have people to communicate with. Safety! This place isn’t it.

Ordered two chicken dinners for delivery from Carbones in Cottage Grove, MN. The chicken and the waffle fries were cooked to the point of being inedible. Called and talked with someone. The man stated that the chicken cooks that way to get the correct inside temperature. I have never seen another restaurant cook their chicken to being inedible to get to 165 degrees internal temp. He asked if he could do something to make it right, I told him I would like a refund…close to a $50 bill. He then asked if he could do something the next time I am in the restaruant, not even acknowledging the refund. I told him, “No, I won’t be back.” He really didn’t seem to care. I guess he doesn’t need returning customers.

I had went in with a group of 5, wasnt too busy so I expected our food soon, instead it took 45 minutes to get our food. Our waiter was hovering our table, our food was overpriced, even the drinks were overpriced, definitely not coming here to eat in again.
