Carelli’s Pizzeria a quiet little fancy restaurant in the small town of Craig. This place is absolutely divine. The atmosphere was comfy, warm, sweet, and relaxing. The service was fantastic, kind, fast and sweet. I went with my family of 7. We got a table immediately, served drinks, an our appetizers were taken and brought back so conveniently. We had 3 children with us and their kids menu was very helpful for making lunch decisions. Every plate brought to the table was Delicious. I couldn’t believe the taste and satisfying feeling I got from my meal. The babies an us adults had enough to eat and extra to take home after. In all the experience was wonderful. My partner and I also do take out order of their Pizzas her All the time. We really enjoy them. The Pizza is Crispy, Juices, Flavorful and has the right temperature for a perfect bite. Carelli’s has a great menu to choose from. So if your around Craig, Colorado and want a Fancy Pizza and Italian Flavor Dining experience, or a Take Out with family and friends or alone come on by.

Went with my grandmother for dinner, Megan our waitress was wonderful. Someone in the back wasn’t allowing tables for reservations more then an hour plus out. Megan diffused the situation with her wonderful personality. She’s so warm and fun to talk to! The food was great but the service was fantastic.

Four hours into a nine hour drive we were excited to stop for some pizza, but we were disappointed. After 45 minutes of waiting for our food and trying to entertain kids that whole time, we decided to ask our server the progress of our order. (Two slices of a pizza and two salads) She discovered the order hadn’t been started at all. When the food finally arrived the delay was jokingly blamed in the table we sat sat, which apparently sometimes gets “overlooked” due to it being in the corner. The salads were lackluster and the pizza was remarkably plain, and in the end we left disappointed by the service and unsatisfied with the food. It seems this place usually hits the spot for others, we just seemed to draw the short straw this time.

Wanted to give the new owners a try… not great. Our waitress was awesome, although she was busy with every table, so service was slow. Our pizza took 45 minutes, which she warned us about beforehand. The pizza looked amazing when it came out, but didn’t taste good. We got the Margherita..tomatoes were wet and soggy, and the pizza as a whole had no flavor. I’ve never had to add salt to my pizza, but did to make it edible. Bummer.

A great stop as you head out or into the mountains or anywhere! Crispy crust with just the right amount of doughy edges. Slices ready to go or whole pies. A surprising amount of choices all wrapped up in a classic pizzeria style setting.

Overall bad experience. Took well over an hour to even get food, had to change orders multiple times because they ran out of food and still got orders incorrect. Quality of food itself is subpar, especially compared to food of previous owners.

Occasionally come to Craig for work, this is my favorite place to eat. Had the prime rib special with garlic mashed potatoes and veggies, it was very good. They also have a great craft beer selection and make an awesome old fashioned. Can’t wait to come back
