Can’t tell you how good the food is! If you’re in need of HOT and delicious home cooked meal, RUN, don’t walk to Carey Hilliard’s. The staff is friendly, the food is freshly prepared, and they’re opened until 12 a.m. Imagined leaving the club, movie theaters or work late and you’re hungry; they offer curbside services and they’re plenty of spaces to sit for large family parties. The prices are fair, plenty of family-friendly options even for kids, and they also have coloring books and crayons to keep the kiddos occupied until the food comes out, which doesn’t take long. I enjoy the staff, and every time I come to town, EATING HERE IS A MUST ❤️

Not good ! Shrimp cooked to a crisp and salad – see the picture croutons burnt, tomato rotted and lettuce withered. The sad part is I eat here at least 2-3 times monthly. Very disappointed!!!

Regardless of location (of which there are several) the Pork BBQ Plate is consistently high-quality, tasty, and more than enough to leave with an overfull stomach. The BBQ sauce is thick, spicy and sweet (some may find it too sweet) and the pork is smokey & tender. EXCELLENT Brunswick stew – thick enough to eat with a fork. Mac & Cheese is like grandma used to make. I should branch out and try some fish but why pass up a great BBQ meal.

We love Carey Hilliard’s and also make it a point to stop when traveling to/from Florida. Last night, we had the pleasure of having Chaela as our waitress. She was excellent! She was kind and funny and patient when my tired brain refused to work while ordering after I had traveled all day. Our food was quick. I even heard her remembering another customer’s order from a month ago. That kind of memory is amazing!

On 6/20/23 at 11:07pm. My food was horrible after waiting 35 minutes and tipping the waitress. I called and spoke with the manager and was told that I could save my food and bring it back in the morning. Thanks for the inconvenience! I will be calling your corporate office.

We ordered hamburger steak with green beans and french fries. The pepper steak and green beans had far too much black pepper and the steak was dry. The restaurant looked worn out on the inside and is overdue for an update. Our waitress was sweet and attentive but we would not eat here again.
