What a feast for the price!!! My sister and I went and expected small portions based on the price and were overwhelmed by the amount of food! I ordered the chicken strip special that came with two sides, which I selected the macaroni and cheese and french fries. My sister got the pulled barbecue pork, a side salad, and coleslaw. Her meal also came with buttered toast. We tried the honey mustard, ranch, and barbecue sauce. All had great flavors. We were so full we couldn’t even finish the meal, let alone consider desert. Would highly recommend this family-friendly location. The food and value can’t be beat! Wish we lived in the area to try more menu options

My first time at Carey Hilliard’s. I was impressed with a wider selection of seafood (and non-seafood) on the menu and even more impressed with the story behind the restaurant. I ordered the OYSTERS Ocean fresh with two sides. The oyster was fresh and delicious. The waitress was nice and professional. I would return next time I am in town. By the way, the Carey Hilliard’s on Abercorn St. is within walking distance from many hotels nearby.

Very nice dining experience. Food was fresh and hot. Delicious sweet tea. My waiter Tyler provided an excellent experience. He was attentive and responded to my needs with a great attitude. Definitely not what I was expecting. Fried pickles were amazing though. The oysters tasted very weird or just not fresh. Will try again another time I’m in the Savannah area. Sabrina was a good waitress.

I’ve been eating here since I was a kid. They have the best seafood, tea, fries and crab stew! Savannah is where I was born but live in Atlanta now. Always refer people to Carey Hilliards. My first stop when I get in town. There is no place like this family owned restaurant!!

While on vacation in Savannah we passed by Carey Hilliards a couple of times and it was very busy. So this evening we went early to beat the crowd. We loved the food. The fried shrimp were very good as was the slaw. My baked potato was under baked and barely warm but tasted ok. We had a great waitress. I wish we could go back but since we live 6 hours away we most likely want.
