Authentic and tasty Jamaican food, I don’t come here enough but I should because their lunch specials are hard to beat. I got the Monday curry chicken with rice & peas for $7 with a drink wow that’s amazing. Quick service and even a little market side to find an assortment of items.

Came in they didn’t greet me as such, ordered 4 oxtail plates they waited until I got there to tell me they only have 3. Had customers waiting forever didn’t greet any.

The jerk chicken tasted ok, but the amount of bones in it seemed excessive. It was tedious to eat worrying you would bite another shard. It might be normal for this dish though, I don’t know.

The food is good. I have been coming here for years, but the service is so bad. It’s terrible. The old lady with the short hair and glasses is the worst. I don’t know why they keep her around. They should just keep her in the kitchen. It’s much better when the kids are up front because they listen and get your orders out right but that lady makes you not even want to go there. The food is good, but not good enough to make up for her terrible customer service.

This is the only jamaican spot I will go to. I drive all the way from fort myers to get a plate. They never sized me like the spots in fort myers have. Real jamaican jerk ain’t flat out red with some weird sweet oily taste to it like the spots in the city tried to serve me, being that I was raised by jamaicans it’s insulting. This spot here is the only authentic spot i’ve came across, they serve me with a greeting everytime. For those who are saying the woman at the counter is rude I suggest coming in more often, those who know, KNOW lol the ruder they are at the desk at a jamaican joint you know the food gone hit everytime . However that’s never been my experience. I adore the older lady who takes and prepares orders, she always knows what I want and puts extra love into my plates. I’ll drive 35-40 minutes for a plate here anyday.

My boyfriend and I just got back from Jamaica and was looking for an authentic Jamaican food restaurant. This place was so good we ate here two days in a row! Definitely worth the drive if you are coming from Fort Myers or even Naples.

Horrible experience, my first time trying this place I came in to grab a quick lunch as I heard they have lunch specials until 2pm. And they had no sense of urgency, lack of communication or a welcome feeling. I had oxtails and curry chicken and both lacked seasoning, salad had no dressing and plantains were just dry. All in all this was a horrible experience I would never again go back or recommend anyone to go their.
